Gamebrain

Gamebrain is a serious game that combines bitesized learning with gamification and competitive, repetitive play.

Swipe Game Mode

My role during this project was varied, including initial prototyping, project setup, app side architecture, data structure and management, core game logic, gameplay, custom avatar system, shaders, 3D scene setup, lighting, and optimisations.

Custom Avatar Editor

The game features a full custom avatar editor with multi custom coloured clothing and decal system, unlockable items, two game types, swipe mode and multichoice mode, along with two game modes Solo and VS. In VS mode players play asynchronously to compete against the player above them in the leaderboard.

PSA Project

  • Role: Lead App developer.
  • Year: 2019

The PSA app was designed for PSA to help their staff and partners access learning content from a third party LMS using an interactive wall of content tailored for each user.

Tile wall

For this project my role was to develop the app side, working with the designers on the UI and intractability of the app, along with hooking it up to the API endpoints and managing app side data.
